EPA has conducted an internal training program for GPS data processing and EIA inspection from 14th to 18th June 2012. The training involved classroom sessions and also a field visit to K.Villingili on Saturday 16th June 2012. All the units of EPA participated in this training program.  The training program was coordinated by the EIA unit and training to staff was given by Senior Environment Analyst Mr. Rifath Naeem of the Coastal Unit. 

The closing ceremony for the training was held today in Ministry of Environment and Energy. In this meeting Deputy Director General Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed distributed certificates to all participants of this training program.  During the closing session Deputy Director General highlighted the importance of such training programs and also suggested that similar programs of staff development will be held in the future as well. He also thanked all the staff who participated in the program.
