EPA today has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maldives National Library to participate and collaborate with the library in providing environment related reports and publications to the Maldives Digital Library project. The MOU was signed on behalf of EPA by Director General Ibrahim Naeem and on behalf of National Library Director General Ibrahim Shiyam.
In the event held today, Ibrahim Naeem thanked National Library for providing this opportunity.  Ibrahim Shiyam thanked EPA for taking the initiative to participate in this project and also highlighted the importance of easy access to environment related research and publications.
Under this project, all EIA reports approved by EPA and other published reports will be made available for public viewing from the digital library in the near future.
