EIA for the proposed development of Tourist resor Ga.dhugurah

Dhigurah Island is located on the eastern boarder of Huvadhoo Atoll, Ga. Atoll, just
south of the inhabited island of Maamendhoo. It is a fairly long and narrow island
having approximately 19 hectares. Maximum length and average width of the island
is 1515 m and 127m respectively. Uninhabited islands closest to Dhigurah are
Hulhimendhoo and Kodufuttaa just north and south of Dhigurah sharing the same
reef-flat. Dhigurah is actually almost in the middle of the reef system that starting
from Maamendhoo in the north to the uninhabited island of Kerehdhoo in the south.
