EPA inspected the harbor projects in gahdhoo and Faresmaathodaa and also inspected the resort development project in Maguhdhuvaa.  The construction of the latter has already been completed and the resort is under operation while for the former two projects construction was on going.  Three staff from EIA section of EPA participated in these inspection trips. The aim of the trip was to check weather the proposed mitigation measures are implemented and whether the proposed project is undertaken as stated in the EIA report in the footprint proposed in the report. The inspection team visited Faresmaathodaa on 08th March, Gahdhoo on 09th March and Maguhdhuvaa on 10th March respectively.
